New issue of V.News magazine out!

Thursday, March 20 - 2014

The first edition of V.News magazine for 2014 has been distributed to our offices and managed vessels across the globe.

In this issue we discuss Bravery at Sea, consider the health implications of too much sun, spend our 'Day in the Life' features with Safety Consultant Alexander Dragoy and Deck Cadet Mark J. Arroyo, find out what the vessels of the future might be like, launch this year's V.Ships photography competition, catch up on all the latest V.Group news and much more!

V.News is the company's free quarterly magazine aimed at all levels of shore and sea staff throughout the world, keeping them up-to-date with what's happening in V.Group, as well as providing a general overview of the shipping industry.

For many of our seafarers the magazine not only provides information and entertainment during long voyages but also acts as an important link between ship and shore.

V.News Editor, Rachael Simpson, said: "V.News got off to a flying start this year with so many good stories coming in that I had to extend the edition to 40 pages. I hope all our staff at sea and on shore will enjoy reading the latest edition."

Additional copies are also being shared with the Glasgow primary school class who recently visited the V.Ships Glasgow office to learn about the world of shipping.
